2nd Anniversary of the Shree Jagannatha Temple in Accra | 11.01.2026

Description: The Utkala Ghana Association marked the 2nd Anniversary of the Shree Jagannatha Temple in Accra from 9 to 11 January 2026. The three-day spiritual and cultural celebration marked an important milestone for the Odia and the larger Indian diaspora and devotees of Lord Shree Jagannatha in Ghana and across West Africa.

Over 550 devotees gathered on the final day alone, reflecting the growing spiritual significance of the temple for the Indian diaspora and devotees across West Africa.

The occasion was graced by His Excellency Shri Manish Gupta, High Commissioner of India to Ghana and his spouse Mrs. Nimeesha Gupta who attended the event as the Chief Guests. Their presence underscored the strong cultural and people-to-people ties between India and Ghana and added significance to the celebrations.

Heartfelt thanks to ISKCON Ghana, devotees, volunteers and supporters for making this milestone a grand success. The Shree Jagannatha Temple continues to be a vibrant centre of devotion, cultural exchange and harmony in Ghana.
