Visit of Business Delegation from The Southern Gujarat Chamber of Commerce & Industries (SGCCI) | 20.02.2026

A high-level business delegation from The Southern Gujarat Chamber of Commerce & Industries visited Ghana from 15 to 20 February 2026, marking an important step toward deepening India–Ghana commercial ties.

Comprising leading entrepreneurs and industry representatives from textiles, engineering, healthcare, pharmaceuticals, international trade, water purification, gems and jewellery, industrial supplies, and manufacturing, the delegation engaged in wide-ranging discussions aimed at expanding bilateral cooperation.

The delegation paid a courtesy call on Chargé d'Affaires a.i., Shri V.N. Parameswaran, followed by a productive roundtable focused on trade collaboration, industrial partnerships, investment opportunities, and technology exchange. The discussions highlighted the strong potential for enhanced business engagement between Indian enterprises and Ghanaian industries, paving the way for long-term partnerships and increased bilateral trade.

Ms. Aisha Bedewi from PwC briefed the delegation on Ghana’s business and investment climate, providing valuable insights into emerging opportunities across key sectors.

India and Ghana continue to build stronger economic bridges through dialogue, collaboration, and shared growth ambitions.
