A beautiful celebration of learning and partnership in Accra.

The High Commission of India, Accra, in collaboration with Mayekoo NGO contributed their share of books to Tenashie A/B Primary School, Osu to help set up their new Reading Room, under the India Corner initiative.

Chargé d’Affaires a.i. Shri V. N. Parameswaran engaged warmly with the children, sharing words of encouragement and inspiring them to explore the limitless world that books can open. The smiles, curiosity, and excitement in the room reflected the true impact of the initiative.

The Tenashie Book Donation and Literacy Engagement was not just about books. It was about nurturing imagination, strengthening literacy, and building bridges of friendship between India and Ghana through education.

Through India Corner, we reaffirm our shared commitment to empowering young minds and investing in a brighter, knowledge driven future.
